The European Games in Krakow in 2023
The European Games in Krakow are getting closer. The athletes will face the turn of June and July 2023. President Jacek Majchrowski and the Minister of Sport and Tourism Kamil Bortniczuk have signed contracts thanks to which Krakow will receive money from the state budget for the implementation of investments necessary for the organization of the European Games.
Krakow European Games in 2023 - investments
Co-financing will cover three investments:
- Renovation of the Henryk Reyman City Football Stadium - PLN 89 million.
- Construction of a classic canoe track and reconstruction of a kayaking track (at Kolna Street) - PLN 65 million,
- Construction of a 3 × 2 basketball court at Hala Cracovia - PLN 3 million
