Auschwitz-Birkenau is a museum and memorial dedicated to over 1.5 million of victims murdered by the Nazis during World War II, as well as a symbol of the Holocaust – one of the greatest crimes against humanity in the world history.

The Wieliczka Salt Mine includes an over 700-years-old underground city, a maze of corridors, chambers, salt monuments and natural wonders, such as underground lakes.

Tour type:

  • A tour that combines educational and recreational elements. Theitinerary includes a visit to the Auschwitz I Museum, followed by a ride and visit to the Auschwitz II Birkenau Museum.
  • After a lunch break, a ride and visit to the Wieliczka Salt Mine are planned.
  • All stages of the tour take place in the company of licenced  travel guides.
  • Full-day tour. Tour duration: 10h.

  • Clothing suitable for temperatures of 17-18C (which is the temperature on the tourist

What you need to know:

Auschwitz:

  • In accordance with the requirements of the Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial and Museum, all tour participants are required to provide their full name and contact information as part of their ticket reservation. Refusal to allow access the museum is possible
  • if the name provided for the reservation is not the same as the name on the presented ID card.
  • It is important to remember not to bring large bags or backpacks to the museum (the maximum allowed size is 20 x 30 cm).
  • We recommend that you bring lunch and beverages on the tour, but their consumption is  allowed only during breaks, in places designated for that purpose.

Wieliczka:

  • There are more than 800 steps to climb on the route, including 380 at the beginning.
  • The exit takes place via the elevator.
  • The constant annual temperature on the tourist route is approx. 17-18C.
  • IMPORTANT: Narrow paths of the route may appear claustrophobic.
  • You must purchase a permit to take pictures at the mine.

Depending on the type of the tour. The group tour begins in the specified location in the centre of Kraków. The exact location of the pickup point will be provided after booking the tour.
