"Painted with Light" Gardens at Wawel Castle – until October 5, 2025

This autumn, Wawel Castle after dark looks unlike ever before. Until October 5, 2025, visitors can experience the evening light show “Gardens Painted with Light”, which transforms the Royal Gardens and arcaded courtyard into a glowing world of colour.

The specially designed route leads through illuminated trees, architectural details and light tunnels, creating an atmospheric walk instead of a traditional show. The fusion of history, nature and modern technology allows you to see Wawel in a new, poetic way.

Practical information

  • open daily from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM (last entry at 10:45 PM)
  • tickets: 9 PLN (regular), 7 PLN (reduced)
  • available online and at the ticket office on site
  • entrance: from Kanonicza Street, through the Austrian Gate
