26th International Book Fair in Krakow® 2023 - A Literary Celebration by the Vistula
The scent of fresh print mingles with the aroma of autumn as Krakow momentarily transforms into the literary heart of Poland. From October 26th to 29th, book enthusiasts from Poland and beyond will unite at EXPO Krakow to celebrate the 26th edition of the International Book Fair.
Engaging with Literature in the Heart of Krakow
The EXPO Krakow hall will not only feature the sale of the latest titles but also host numerous author meetings, discussions, lectures, and signing sessions. The city invites both adults and younger readers for this occasion, offering a rich array of children's and young adult literature.
100 Years of Wisława Szymborska
This year's edition is also special due to the 100th birthday of one of Poland's most esteemed poets, Wisława Szymborska. Her works will hold a significant spot in the fair's program, with the event's motto drawing inspiration from her words - "So much world all around the world at once".
Diversity at Your Fingertips
Over 350 exhibitors are expected to present at the fair. Visitors will have the chance to dive into literature of various genres, ranging from fiction, non-fiction, religious, academic, to mysteries and fantasy.
Festivals, Meetings, and Contests
The fair is not just about books. It also includes numerous festivals such as the Women's Literature Festival and the Mountain and Travel Literature Festival. For those who cannot attend in person, the organizers have set up a virtual fair platform and a fair TV. The full event program will be available soon here. Don't miss out!
Ensuring Comfort for Participants
To ensure comfort for all participants, the organizers have introduced some organizational changes, including expanding the exhibition space and setting entrance limits. The EXPO Krakow, the venue for the fair, is a state-of-the-art facility, perfect for such an event.
Krakow awaits all literature enthusiasts. It's an opportunity to immerse yourself in the literary world, get acquainted with publishing novelties, and experience the magic of words. See you by the Vistula!
