Wawel's Royal Gardens Return This Spring
As spring arrives, the gardens at Wawel Castle will once again be open to visitors. This unique spot, a green haven in the heart of Krakow, reopens its gates after the winter break, inviting visitors to wander among its plant compositions.
The history of the gardens dates back nine years when they were first made accessible to the public. The space is divided into two terraces: the upper one transports visitors to medieval times, and the lower one is inspired by the Renaissance. The restoration of these areas took over 16 years and consumed a budget exceeding 1.4 million PLN.
Thanks to the efforts of conservators and gardeners, the Royal Gardens today appear as a place full of color and life. It is an ideal space for anyone wishing to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and immerse themselves in the royal atmosphere of nature. On April 26th, everyone will have the opportunity to visit this beautiful place.
