Kościuszko Mound is a monumental structure located in Kraków, Poland, which is not only an impressive historic landmark but also an important symbol of the struggle for freedom and independence. The mound was erected on the hill of the same name and is dedicated to Tadeusz Kościuszko, a Polish national hero.

The interior of the mound's fortifications houses a fascinating permanent exhibition devoted to Tadeusz Kościuszko. This interactive and multimedia narrative presents the life and achievements of Kościuszko, portraying him as a universal hero, defender of freedom, and a symbol of steadfastness. During the tour, visitors move through various chambers that tell the story of Kościuszko's youth, his involvement in the American War of Independence, and his fight against Russia. The exhibition utilizes diverse forms of storytelling, incorporating elements of film, theater, and computer games to further engage the audience. Original artifacts associated with Kościuszko's life play an important role, adding authenticity and depth to the story.

After exploring the exhibition, visitors can visit the Kościuszko Garden, which surrounds the Kościuszko Mound. Tadeusz Kościuszko was known for his love of gardening, so the garden features native shrubs and flowers that add charm to the place. Various species of roses cultivated in honor of Kościuszko can be found there, as well as symbols of love, such as oak and pine trees, which remind us of his connection with Ludwika Sosnowska. The Kościuszko Garden also has symbolic significance, reflecting Polishness, patriotism, and the figure of Tadeusz Kościuszko himself.

Kościuszko Mound is not only a place full of history and symbolism but also attractive to tourists who want to admire beautiful views of the Kraków panorama. From the top of the mound, one can enjoy picturesque landscapes of the city and its surroundings.
