The Great Dragon Parade is one of the most phenomenal events in Europe. This year it will take place on June 4 and 5. The first day is an amazing spectacle on the water, the second is a colorful parade.
Dragon Outdoor Show
On Saturday, June 4 at 22:00, the Great Show on the Vistula River will begin. Amazing pyrotechnic effects, giant water curtains, fantastic light, laser and music settings are waiting for the participants of the event.
The main role is played by dragons - huge flying creatures animated from ships by actors of the Groteska Theater. Large-format helium-filled dragons are up to 25 meters long and 15 meters high.
The Dragon Parade
On Sunday, a colorful Parade of Dragons will take place in the Market Square (From Planty Park, through the Grodzka street to the Main Square).
Kindergartens, schools, community centers and private persons were invited to prepare flying creatures. Participants will walk through the streets of Krakow presenting their projects. The edition will be held under the slogan "Dragons of Polish cities, cathedrals, castles and palaces".
