The Krakow Christmas Market 2025 will take place on the Main Square (Rynek Główny) from 28 November 2025 to 1 January 2026. Every winter, the heart of Krakow turns into a festive town filled with warm lights, local crafts and the scent of cinnamon, roasted nuts and mulled wine.

Most stalls are typically open from 10:00 to 20:00, with food stands often staying open later into the evening.

Where it takes place

The market takes place on Krakow’s Main Market Square (Rynek Główny) in the Old Town. Wooden chalets fill the square below the Cloth Hall, St Mary’s Basilica and the Town Hall Tower, all illuminated by warm festive lighting.

What to expect in 2025?

Visitors can look forward to artisan gifts, hand-painted baubles, winter snacks like pierogi and gingerbread, and traditional smoked cheese oscypek served hot with cranberry. Folk groups, choirs and seasonal performances help create the festive atmosphere around the Main Market Square.
